Gereen Anderson
Gereen was born and raised in Edmonton. She worked as a line cook for 10 years and then apprenticed as a chef for a year. She then decided that she hated cooking for people because they were too picky and she could not be creative enough. She finally went back to University at the age of 38 and received her Correctional Services Diploma. She worked for non profit and then with the government in the Justice and Solictor General department and is now retired. She went Vegan in December of 2020 after a rabbit hole adventure beginning with the death of Regan Russell. She became active for the animals the same day. She now spends all of her time and energy in the Animal Rights movement. She is the Organizer for Edmonton Animal Save, We The Free, Direct Action Everywhere and the Plant Based Treaty. Her hobbies include, video-graphy, media production for her YouTube channel, poetry, cycling, collecting cats and doing whatever she can for the animals. “Until I take my last breath” Karin Nelson.
